E. Craig Lothian - Executive Chairman

Mr. Lothian has in excess of sixteen years experience in the oil and natural gas industry. He is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of Keystone Royalty Corp. (a land and royalty company). Previously Mr. Lothian was also President and CEO of Villanova Resources Inc. until it was acquired by Crescent Point Energy Trust in January, 2009 ($130.1 Million). Mr. Lothian was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Flatland Exploration Ltd. until it was acquired by Bulldog Energy Inc. in 2002 ($4.75 Million); Chief Executive Officer of Keystone Energy Inc. prior to it being acquired by StarPoint Energy Ltd. in 2004 ($22.9 Million); CEO of Keystone Energy Corp. prior to it being acquired by Bulldog Resources Inc. and TriStar Oil & Gas Ltd. in January 2007 ($34.0 Million). Craig was also the Chairman of Bulldog Energy Inc. prior to its acquisition by Crescent Point Energy Trust in 2005 ($118 Million) and was also the Chairman of the Board of Bulldog Resources Inc., before it was acquired by TriStar Oil & Gas Ltd. ($200 Million) in January 2008.

Mr. Lothian obtained his Bachelor of Arts (1986) and LL.B. (1988) from the University of Saskatchewan and rose to partnership of a Regina law firm prior to entering the energy business. Mr. Lothian is also a founder and director of Lex Capital Corp., Lex Realty Holdings Corp., Crave Kitchen + Wine Bar Inc., and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors. In addition, he is a Past President of The Assiniboia Club, and currently is the Past Board Member and Chair of the Corporate Governance Committee, of The Hospitals of Regina Foundation. Most recently, Craig was appointed to the Board of Directors of Enterprise Saskatchewan.

 

Rob Duguid, BA.

Rob Duguid is a founding partner of SaskWorks Venture Fund and a partner with PFM Capital Inc., a venture capital and private equity management firm established in 1989. Mr. Duguid holds the positions of Vice President, Investments for PFM Capital Inc., Apex Investment Fund and Saskatchewan Entrepreneurial Fund. He is Vice President, Investments and Chief Financial Officer for the general partner of Prairie Ventures Fund Limited Partnership, and Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of SaskWorks Venture Fund Inc. Mr. Duguid holds a variety of directorships in numerous companies. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Distinction) from the University of Regina.

 

Jason Drummond, BBA

Jason Drummond is the President of the Drummond Group of Companies, a private investment company with interests in a variety of industries, including farming, the food and beverage industry, real estate, small business loans, oil and gas exploration, production and processing. Mr. Drummond holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Regina. He has a background in corporate finance, having worked in the venture capital industry upon finishing his degree at the University of Regina.

 

F. William Johnson, BA., LL.B

Bill Johnson is a Senior Partner in the Gerrand Rath Johnson law firm in Regina, where he and Mr. Lothian were formerly partners. He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1997, and has expertise as a civil trial and appellate lawyer in commercial matters, and also has particular expertise in the law of defamation and media-related issues. Mr. Johnson obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Economics) and Bachelor of Laws in 1973 from the University of Saskatchewan and obtained a Master of Laws degree in 1975 from Oxford University, England, studying there on a Rhodes Scholarship. He has served on the Boards of several community institutions.

 

 

Cam Taylor

Cam has 21 years of experience in oil and gas exploration and production. He graduated from the University of Regina with a BSc in Geophysics in 1988. Since graduating he has worked in oil and gas exploration for Mobil, Murphy Oil, Boyd Exploration, Morgan Hydrocarbons, Canadian 88 Energy, Keystone Energy Inc., Keystone Energy Corp. and Villanova Resources Inc. From 2002 to 2008, Cam was part of the exploration team at Keystone Energy Inc., Keystone Energy Corp. and Villanova Resources Inc. Prior to that time, Cam was a Manager with Canadian 88 Energy. Cam’s technical experience includes southern Alberta, southeast Saskatchewan and west central Saskatchewan. Cam is a director of Pan Orient Energy, a TSX traded junior oil company with operations in Thailand and an exploration focus in Asia.

 

John Thomson, CA - Special Advisor to the Board of Directors

John Thomson has been associated with the Canadian energy industry for the past 25 years first as an officer of three different oil and natural gas companies and more recently as a director of several public companies. Mr. Thomson graduated in 1972 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of New Brunswick. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1974. Following graduation from university, Mr. Thomson was engaged in the public accounting profession for nine years. In addition to his position on the Board of Villanova, Mr. Thomson serves on the Board of Directors of several other companies, and is also a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
